Absolute Rehab Therapy is a unique hands-on Physical Therapy facility, where one-on-one treatment in a private setting still exists. Physical Therapy practiced with a dedication to returning you to optimum health and wellness. The unique training and treatment approach incorporated by our staff provides us the ability to approach your problem from the source rather than just treating your symptoms. Our therapists specialize in Functional Manual Therapy and an expertise in Vestibular Rehab and Pelvic Floor Health.
Our practice is cash based. This means that we do not participate in any health insurance plans, except for Medicare. We are, therefore, considered "out-of-network" with all commercial health insurance plans. We have chosen this form of practice so that we can provide one-on-one, quality care, based on the needs of each client, rather than being directed by the requirements of any insurance company. We will gladly provide you with a receipt after each session, for you to pursue reimbursement from your health insurance carrier for our services.
Functional Manual Therapy uses specific evaluation techniques to identify movement dysfunctions that contribute to pain, decreased mobility and degenerative changes. Based on the evaluative findings, specific hands on therapy techniques and movement patterns are used to restore efficient mobility of the joints and soft tissues which include muscle, nerves, organs, fascia, skin, tendons and ligaments. Once efficient mobility of the system has been restored, neuromuscular re-education is utilized to improve specific muscle initiation, strength and endurance. The final component is to improve motor control, which focuses on proper movement patterns that allow for the most efficient use of the body. This includes integration of sports specific movements, to everyday activities such as walking, lifting, active sitting, and other day to day activities.
What sets us apart from other facilities is, that we evaluate through skilled observation and palpation in order to accurately assess form and motion dysfunctions. Our treatment will focus on regulating soft tissue and joints-followed by performing resistance training to re-instore motor control.
We are now implementing a new service here at Absolute Rehab Therapy, Dry needling. Dry Needling, sometimes referred to as "Intramuscular Stimulation or Intramuscular Manual Therapy" is a treatment using thin filiform needles to relieve muscular pain and improve movement. Dry needling benefits treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissues. Needles are placed in myofascial trigger points. These points are areas of knotted or hard muscle. The research is astounding and so are the results.
Continuing to embark on the progression and acquirement of the necessary education allowed to provide this service to our patients is exciting.
"Through treatment we improve motor control, structure, and one's functional capacity to enhance the individual's quality of life". (Gregory S. Johnson, Institute of Physical Art, 1985).

I recently completed several months of physical therapy at Absolute Therapy, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The owner, Miri, truly cares about each patient and has remarkable expertise. My therapist, Jaime, is exceptional and exemplifies professionalism; her attention to detail and commitment to enhancing my quality of life, despite my chronic issue, have made a real difference. The entire team goes above and beyond to ensure you receive the best care. They make a concerted effort to accommodate your schedule, and Cheyanne, the receptionist, is always warm and attentive. This isn’t a factory setting; you receive personalized treatment during every visit. Having been to other facilities, I can confidently say that Absolute Therapy is the best—an outstanding choice for physical therapy!
I had back surgery, fusion and a laminectomy. Dr. Miri and Jaime were fantastic and made an incredible positive difference in my rehabilitation.
Subsequently, I developed a hip problem. Back to rehab with Absolute Rehab Therapy!
Again, they zeroed in on the problem and helped with a solution.
The level of knowledge and care is unparalleled. The vibe at Absolute is one of family and support, everyone working towards a common goal. I can't think of a better, more welcoming place in which to receive the most advanced and completely knowledgeable help for any of your physical needs.
The therapists here are top notch! They spend a full hour with you and work hard to resolve your issues. I’ve made great progress with my back pain. Would recommend them highly!!
I just completed my therapy with Miri. I am 79 years old and I had neck and back issues. Now both are stable, I feel great! But even more important: I learned how to prevent future flare ups and what to do so that minor hiccups don't turn into major pains. I highly recommend the entire staff.
My hubby and I have been patients for 10+ years for various issues. The initial intake process, time and attention to detail is the key to getting the therapy we needed. This is NOT your typical physical therapy facility; each therapist works one-on-one with you and slightly differently but all successfully to accomplish our goals of recovery / improved mobility. We always recommend Dr Miri Ingwer and her team for P/T.
came here after a total knee replacement. The level of care and attention I received was excellent.
treatment was one on one at every visit - I didn't have to share my therapist with other clients. my therapist, Jaime, was patient and encouraging. Every visit was a full hour of hard work.
I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone who is considering physical therapy.
I recently had a shoulder replacement and went to Absolute Rehab Therapy for PT to get my strength and range of motion back. Dr Miri lngwer, owner, and physical therapist Jamie were amazing. Their approach is different from other PT I have experienced in the past. They use hands on functional manual treatment along with traditional exercises to garner the best results. They listen. They are interested in Your life situation and take that into account when developing your unique plan for recovery. I couldn't be happier with my progress. While I hope I don't need to I would definitely go back if the need arises.
I recently completed Rehab therapy for a torn meniscus and vertigo with Dr Miri Ingwer and Jamie Greene. I highly recommend them both for their knowledge, expertise and professionalism.
